Man shot in shoulder in Northwest Baltimore

Victim walked into hospital Sunday evening

A man was shot in the shoulder in Northwest Baltimore on Sunday evening, according to Baltimore Police.

Police were called to an area hospital about 6:21 p.m. for a report of a gunshot victim having arrived there, police said.

Police determined during an initial investigation that the shooting had occurred in the 3300 block of Reisterstown Road, on the edge of the city's Liberty Square neighborhood near the western edge of Druid Hill Park.

The gunshot wound was not considered life threatening, police said.

Further information was not immediately available.
