Roundup: AACS knocks off No. 12 Boys' Latin, 71-55

Emmanuel Toney scored 24 points and Austin Nwosu added 15 as Annapolis Area Christian School (12-5) upset No. 12 Boys Latin (18-4), 71-55, in Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association B Conference boys basketball Monday.

The visiting Lakers took an early lead behind Colin Heacock (15 points), Casey Rees (14) and Blair Brooks (12), but in the second half, the Eagles took control and maintained an eight- to 10-point lead until the both coaches cleared their benches with about two minutes left.

Annapolis Area Christian led 37-26 at the half.

No. 4 Mt. St. Joseph 74, Loyola 41: Ohio State-bound Kameron Williams scored 13 of his team's first 19 points, including three 3-pointers, as the visiting Gaels (21-5, 7-3 MIAA AConference) beat the Dons (4-15, 1-10). Williams finished with a game-high 18 points, including four 3-pointers. Mitch Cross had 12 points for Loyola.

No. 7 Randallstown 85, Dundalk 47: Ahmmad Wilson scored 16 points, Marcus Varner added 14 and Tommy Heard had 12 as the host Rams (15-3) overpowered the Owls in Baltimore County action.


Digital Harbor 90, Friendship Academy of Engineering and Technology 13: Infiniti Alston led all scorers with 18 points as the host Rams (13-3) shot 40-for-55 from the field. Miqueara Lewis added 15 points. Digital Harbor led 50-5 at the half.

Mervo 37, Western 31: Kelsey Gould scored 12 points in the visiting Mustangs' (13-1) win.
