Winter advisory overnight for Baltimore, surrounding counties

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory that will be in effect from 5 a.m. to noon on Monday in the greater Baltimore area.

The advisory includes Baltimore city and county, as well as Anne Arundel, Carroll, Frederick, Harford and Howard counties.

The forecast is calling for mostly cloudy skies tonight with a chance of freezing rain, snow and sleet after midnight. Lows will be in the mid-20s, with winds of 5 to 10 mph.

The weather service is also forecasting patchy fog, but little or no sleet accumulation, and only a trace of ice accumulation.
