It worked last time. The Washington-based Z-Burger chain promised Ravens fans free hamburgers if Baltimore beat Denver last week.
The Ravens did, and fans flocked to the White Marsh location to claim their free burgers. Technically, fans were supposed to say the secret password - "Super Bowl" - to qualify for a free burger, but the staff was tipping off the unaware.
If the Ravens beat the Patriots in the AFC championship game on Sunday, Z-Burger says, fans will get free burgers on Monday, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The offer is good at the White Marsh location only.
Fans can have their choice of a hamburger, cheeseburger, veggie burger or turkey burger with a purple bun or regular bun if they are less adventurous, Z-Burger says. Only one free burger per customer.
