A number of Harford County residents, young and old, received flu vaccinations at a free clinic held in Bel Air Friday afternoon by the Harford County Health Department.

One of the workers at the clinic said there had been a steady stream of people during the first portion of the four-hour clinic, which was held in the Harford County Council's chambers. Both FluMist and flu shots were available.

Friday's clinic was the first of two scheduled in Harford this weekend.

Upper Chesapeake Health is offering a flu vaccination clinic at Harford Mall Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m inside the main mall building near Yankee Candle.

Both FluMist and flu shots will be available in limited quantities at no charge to those vaccinated. Children, six months old and older, and adults can be vaccinated. For more information, call 1-800-515-0044.

Visitation restrictions remain place at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air and Harford Memorial Hospital in Havre de Grace last week and will remain in place until the flu crisis has eased.
