Four incidents stall the morning commute

As of 7:40 a.m. Thursday, a one-vehicle accident reported on I-83 North past Exit 24 at Belfast Road in Baltimore County closed both northbound traffic lanes in one of four morning incidents that stalled the morning commute.

The state Department of Transportation website reported three of the incidents in Baltimore County; at 5:20 a.m., traffic lanes on Maryland 133 East and West between Falls Road and Stone Mill Road, were closed due to utility problems. And at 7:10 a.m., debris in the roadway of the Interstate 695 inner loop at the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore County has closed one of two inner loop traffic lanes, DOT said

At 7:03 a.m., a collision in Anne Arundel County in the southbound direction of Maryland Route 2 South at Chautaugua Road has one of two southbound lanes and one of two southbound shoulders closed, DOT said.

As of 7:34 a.m., MTA reports that all buses and trains are running on schedule.
