State women: Towson falls to LIU-Brooklyn in overtime, 65-63

Kelly Robinson scored the game-winning layup with 29 seconds left in overtime, lifting host LIU-Brooklyn (2-3) to a 65-63 victory over Towson (4-2) on Saturday.

Tanisha McTiller led the Tigers with a career-high 24 points and seven rebounds, and Camille Peebles added a career-high 17 points and nine rebounds. Towson's Markell Smith had a career-high seven rebounds.

Cornell 77, Morgan State 73: Clare Fitzpatrick scored a season-high 20 points as the host Big Red (5-3) secured a win over the Bears (3-5). Morgan State's Bianca Jarrett scored 26 points, and Tracey Carrington added 21.

Loyola 55, American 53: Kara Marshall and Katie Sheanin scored a combined 35 points for the Greyhounds (3-4) as they triumphed over the visiting Eagles (2-4).

High Point 63, Navy 47: Tayler Tremblay led the Panthers with 17 points as they defeated the Mids to win the Navy Classic.

Cheyenne Parker added 16 points. Audrey Bauer led Navy with 17 points.

Delaware State 67, UMES 52: Tierra Hawkins scored a game high of 28 points as the host Hornets (2-3) beat the Hawks (1-3). Tasia Bristow and Deanna Harmon each added 14 points for Delaware State.

McDaniel 71, Franklin & Marshall 70, OT: Three McDaniel players scored double figures as the Green Terror (3-3) secured a win over the visiting Diplomats (3-3) in overtime. Elizabeth Snyder scored a career- and game-high 32 points.

Mary Washington 69, Frostburg State 53: Sam Partonen led with a team-high 15 points as the Eagles (5-1) defeated the visiting Bobcats (2-2). Mary Washington had three other players in double figures: Aby Diop (11 points), Carol Dye (10 points) and Amanda Witmer (10 points).

Hood 57, Lycoming 50: Dyanna Prater scored a game-high 19 points as the visiting Blazers (3-2) beat the Warriors (0-5). Rachel Kessler added a career-high 13 points, and Rachel Wiley contributed a season-high nine rebounds.

Johns Hopkins 70, Ursinus 61: Alex Vasilla scored a career-high 22 points with 20 rebounds, leading the Blue Jays (3-5) to victory against the visiting Bears (4-2). Beatriz Williams added 11 points and eight rebounds for Hopkins.

Stevenson 73, Arcadia 55: Kyarra Harmon scored a career-high 16 points as the host Mustangs (3-1) defeated the Knights (2-2). Sam Murray and Kayleigh Guzek each added 11 points.

Merchant Marine 51, Goucher 46: Tamara Kaileh and Kristina Walz led the Mariners (3-0) past the visiting Gophers (1-5) with 16 points each. For Goucher, Latifah Butler scored a game-high 24 points.

Muhlenberg 59, Washington College 44: Alita Zabrecky led the visiting Mules (3-2) to a win against the Shorewomen (4-1) with 21 points and 14 rebounds. Leaann Lanza added 14 points for the Mules.

York 62, St. Mary's 48: Brittany Hicks led the Spartans (6-0) with a game-high 17 points and 13 rebounds as York defeated the host Spartans (4-1). Sophie Pruden led St. Mary's with 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Salisbury 74, MCLA 68: The host Sea Gulls (3-3) overcame a 12-point run by the Trailblazers (3-2) in the fourth quarter and claimed the championship title in the Optimist Classic.
