Havre de Grace Ambulance Corps accepting Toys for Tots donations

November 28, 2012|RECORD STAFF REPORT

The Havre de Grace Ambulance Corps, Inc., along with the Marine Corps Reserve and the Toys for Tots Foundation, have designated the Havre de Grace Ambulance Corps station as a Toys for Tots drop-off location again this year.

"We are looking for new, unwrapped toys or clothing items that will be distributed to needy children in our community during this holiday season," Ambulance Corps spokesman Mark Hemler said.

Last year the Ambulance Corps was again, the 3rd largest Toys for Tots drop off site in the State.

"This year we have purchased a third medic unit, so our goal is to fill up all three of our Medic Units with new, unwrapped Toys," Hemler said.

The Ambulance Corps will also accept all new, unwrapped toys and new clothing at its station located at 1601 Level Road (Route 155) any day, seven days a week between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. Just look for the Toys for Tots sign up on the hill!

Deadline for toys to be dropped off is Dec. 15.
