Traffic: Accident on I-70 eastbound at U.S. 29

No major delays reported on area transit systems

As of 9 a.m. Tuesday, traffic was slow on I-70 eastbound at U.S. 29 in Howard County due to an accident.

Accidents were slowing traffic on Dorsey Road and Aviation Boulevard in Anne Arundel County and Crain Highway and Mayo Road in Anne Arundel County.

A vehicle fire was slowing traffic on U.S. 301 near Route 100 in Queen Anne's County.

Monument Street is closed between Wolfe Street and Patterson Park Avenue in East Baltimore due to sinkhole repairs. Maryland Transit Administration bus 35 has been diverted.

There are no major delays reported on area transit systems.
