Arnold Volunteer Fire Department

The department is recruiting volunteers, 16 and older, to serve both as firefighters and to assist with administrative tasks. Current needs include firefightersEMTs, building maintenance, public outreach and fire safety education, fundraising, event planning, and administrative assistance. 4-wheel-drive vehicles

Volunteers are needed for administrative support, transportation to and from appointments, job counseling and life-skills coaches, computer maintenance help, and serving on the board of directors. Speakers, Tutors, Achievement, Retention, Success (STARS) needs men and women to work as mentors and/or tutors to students between ages 16 and 24.
