Football By The Numbers for Week 12

The MIAA championships highlighted Week 12 with Gilman dominating Calvert Hall for the A Conference title and St. Paul’s and St. Frances escaping close calls in the B and C conference finals, respectively.

The regional championships also featured their share of lopsided wins and close games.

As we head into the state tournament, here are some of the statistics that stood out in this weekend’s action.


Point conversion in overtime, a pass from Anthony Pino to Rob Suite, for the difference in St. Paul’s 28-27 win over John Carroll for the B Conference title


Left when St. Frances' Khalil Stanfield intercepted a pass to seal the Panthers’ 30-25 win over Severn for the C Conference title

Teams remaining undefeated in the Baltimore area -- River Hill, Westminster, St. Paul’s and St. Frances


Players who rushed for 200 or more yards in this weekend’s playoff games -- Gilman’s Shane Cockerille (228), Westminster’s Dan Johnson (227), New Town’s Derrick Kittrell (216), St. Paul’s Dale Harris (212) and Dunbar’s Coleman Blackston (202)
