English conversation The Miller branch of the Howard County Public Library, 9421 Frederick Road, Ellicott City, offers "Let's Get Together: English Conversation Club," a chance for those for whom English is a second language to practice speaking and understanding English in a group setting. 'Hearts Away, Bombs Away' Vincent Gisriel Jr. discusses a book about his father, Vincent Gisriel Sr., a bombardier during World War II, at 12:45 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29.

Oldies music Al Callahan performs classics and standards beginning at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20.

Early Bird Bingo Carol Patterson leads an hour of morning bingo beginning at 10 a.m. Tickets are $2.
