Ravens veterans school rookies on the Steelers rivalry

Most NFL players experienced major college football and the rivalries that went along with that. But some of the Ravens veterans have warned the rookies about Pittsburgh vs. Baltimore -- a rivalry unlike any other.

Ravens fullback Vonta Leach had a nice little chat with rookie running back Bernard Pierce.

"The Steelers have big, physical linebackers and they can play the run or pass," Leach said he told Pierce. "All of them can get after a quarterback. It is one hard-hitting, physical rivalry and you've got to get ready and be ready. You better bring your lunch bucket and a hard hat.

"I knew it was hard hitting because I had watched them play on TV. But it's even worse on the field. I let these younger guys know what they are getting into, but you really don't know until you get into the fire."
