The National Weather Service is calling for Thursday to be cloudy in the Baltimore area, with a high near 57 and west winds 10 to 17 miles per hour.

A coastal flood warning is in effect until 2 p.m. Thursday for the upper tidal Potomac River. A small craft advisory is in effect through Thursday night for the tidal Potomac River and the Maryland Chesapeake Bay.

Thursday night is expected to start out mostly cloudy and then gradually become clearer, with a low around 42 and west winds 9 to 11 miles per hour.

Friday is expected to be partly sunny, with a high near 53 and west winds 9 to 16 miles per hour.

Friday night is expected to be mostly cloudy, with a low around 37 and west winds around 11 miles per hour.
