Mission BBQ to open Perry Hall location

Mission BBQ is opening a second location in Perry Hall. The expansion into Baltimore County comes little more than a year after the first Mission BBQ opened in Glen Burnie.

The Perry Hall location will open to the public on Nov. 16, with all proceeds being donated to the Wounded Warrior Project. The restaurant will have its official grand opening on Nov. 19, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and a live performance of the National Anthem.

The restaurant is located at The Festival at Perry Hall, 4132 East Joppa Road. It will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. For more information, call 443-219-4660 or go to mission-bbq.com.

The owners of Mission BBQ, Steven Newton and Bill Kraus, have held fast to their stated mission of honoring American service members, police and firefighters.

"We feel it is our duty as Americans to serve," said Kraus, a former Under Armour executive, shorty after the Glen Burnie opening.
