Traffic: Accident at I-695 inner loop at Route 295

As of 9 a.m. Monday, traffic was slow on the inner loop of I-695 at Route 295, due to an accident.

Accidents were slowing traffic on I-95 northbound near I-895 in Baltimore City, the inner loop of I-695 near I-95 in Baltimore County, Hammonds Lane at Route 658 in Baltimore County, Waterloo Road at Washington Boulevard in Howard County, U.S. 1 northbound near Route 175 in Howard County, Liberty Road near I-695 in Baltimore County, Timonium Road near Dulaney Valley Road in Baltimore County, and North Point Boulevard and Sparrows Point Road in Dundalk.

Five activity was blocking traffic on Battery Avenue near West Street in South Baltimore.

Monument Street is closed between Wolfe Street and Patterson Park Avenue in East Baltimore, due to sinkhole repairs. Maryland Transit Administration bus 35 has been diverted.
