Holiday bazaar

St. Paul's Episcopal Church holds its annual Holiday Bazaar at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, at 16457 Old Frederick Road in Mount Airy. The event features baked goods, candies, a silent auction, gift baskets, Christmas tree ornaments, crafts and more. Also, raffle tickets will be sold for a 50-50 drawing, a basket of cheer and a hand-made multi-colored afghan. Information: 410-489-4411.

Holiday fair

Singles party

The annual First Place Singles' Costume Party will be held from 7:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, at the Gary J. Arthur Community Center, 2400 Route 97 in Cooksville. Senior center

Glenwood Senior Center, 2400 Route 97, Cooksville, offers the following events. Information: 410-313-5440:

Sittercize The hourlong exercise program includes seated aerobics, stretching and strengthening drills, 1 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Cost is $36 for 18 classes.

Fit for Life exercises Participants do aerobics, strength training and abdominal work, 8:20 a.m. to 9:20 a.m. Fridays. $45 for 12 classes.

Painting and drawing A painting and drawing open studio will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesdays. Bring your own supplies. Free.

Hatha yoga Classes in this Indian system of physical postures and breathing will be held from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. $45 for eight classes.

Silver Sneakers Walking Club The group is led by a staff member on an indoor track at 8:30 a.m. Mondays through Fridays. Everyone is invited.

Shoot pool Everyone is invited to shoot pool from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.

Senior hoops Players are welcome at 9 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
