Aberdeen

Velma Terrell Carey, 53, of the 1400 block of Perrywood Drive, was charged Wednesday with driving an uninsured vehicle.

Benny Elijah Walton, 66, of the first block of Lewis Lane, was charged Wednesday with possessing a drug other than marijuana and possessing drugs with the intent to distribute.

Someone broke into a home Tuesday in the 100 block of West Aztec Street.

Someone broke into a home Wednesday in the 200 block of Mayberry Drive.

Aberdeen police report:

Someone tried to break into a construction trailer Tuesday in the first block of Taft Street.

Someone sold fake jewelry Tuesday in the first block of North Parke Street.

A rock was thrown at a windshield Tuesday in the 100 block of Hawkins Drive.

Someone broke into a property in the 100 block of West Aztec Street.

A GPS was stolen from a vehicle in the 300 block of Edmund Street on Wednesday.

Shots were reported fired Wednesday in the 2400 block of Carsins Run Road.

A phone threat was reported Wednesday on Boxthorn Road.

People were firing pellet guns Wednesday in the 1400 block of Bankert Terrace.

A home was broken into Wednesday in the 2000 block of Knotty Pine Drive.

Eric David Yeakel, 41, of the 400 block of David Court, was charged Tuesday with second-degree assault.

Kevin Michael Starkey, 21, of the 100 block of Williams Street, was charged Tuesday with violation of probation in a case in which he was found guilty of being rogue and vagabond.

Henry Herman Harjes III, 51, of the 1900 block of Calvery Road, was charged Wednesday with violation of probation in a case in which he was found guilty of trespassing on private property.

David Eric Corn, 23, of the 1100 block of Pericles Drive, was charged Wednesday with two counts of first-degree assault and two counts of second-degree assault.

John Ross Riffey, 30, of the 400 block of Underwood Lane, was charged Wednesday with theft less than $1,000.

Keef Devon Burley, 20, of the 1800 block of Grempler Street, was charged Wednesday with drug possession with intent to distribute, possession of a drug other than marijuana, possession of a narcotic with intent to distribute, failing to obey a reasonable and lawful order and resisting arrest.
