Wedding: Katherine Lawler weds Christopher Broughton

George Sturgis Lawler and Judge Theresa Anne Lawler, of Timonium, announce the marriage of their daughter, Katherine Anne Lawler, to Christopher Shane Broughton, son of Linda Lee Bullock, of Parkville, and James Kenneth Broughton and JoAnn Broughton, of Reisterstown, on Aug. 11, 2012.

The bride received her Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing and psychology from the University of Notre Dame in Notre Dame, Ind. in 2005, and received her Juris Doctor degree from Syracuse University College of Law in Syracuse, New York in 2008. She is a civil litigation attorney in private practice with the MacDonald Law Group based in Beltsville.

The groom received his Bachelor of Science in business management from Towson University in 2007. He is a Logistics Broker with Cowan Systems in Lansdowne.

The wedding took place at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart at the University of Notre Dame in Notre Dame, Ind., followed by a reception at the Century Center in South Bend, Ind.

The couple spent their honeymoon in Ireland. They reside in Canton.
