Don't expect major changes yet on Ravens' offensive line

Because of the poor performance by the offensive tackles against the Kansas City Chiefs last week, there had been some speculation that the Ravens might choose to start Bryant McKinnie at left tackle over Michael Oher and move Oher to the right side to replace rookie Kelechi Osemele. But that won't happen against the Cowboys on Sunday unless someone is really getting dominated.

I agree with offensive coordinator Cam Cameron that it is much too early in the season to start making major changes. I do believe that McKinnie, Oher, Osemele at left guard, Matt Birk at center and Marshal Yanda at right guard, is the team's best offensive line, but the Ravens need to stick with their decision of Osemele at tackle and Ramon Harewood at left guard.

Both Osemele and Harewood are young players and you don't want to tamper with their confidence. If you pull them now, you risk losing them for the season. With veterans like McKinnie and guard Bobbie Williams coming off the bench, you know you are dealing with professionals and they are going to give great efforts at all times.

Once the Ravens declared Harewood and Osemele starters, they were not going to turn back soon. In all honesty, once that decision was made they were stuck for a while. It's a safe bet McKinnie that will be in the lineup before the season is over.
