Noodles and Co.'s limited-time Barbecue Pork Mac and Peppery Pork Sandwich

To introduce its new braised pork, Noodles and Co. has introduced a Barbecue Pork Mac and Peppery Pork Sandwich, both available for a limited time.

The Broomfield, Colo.-based fast-casual concept said that the braised pork, which can be added to any dish for $2.69, is its "first naturally raised protein."

Press materials said that the pork "has decadent flavor without a hefty nutritional price tag." The company uses lean cut, from the pork shoulder, it said, and cooks it sous-vide style. "That keeps it incredibly moist, "said Tessa Stamper, Noodles and Co. chef and registered dietitian, "but not greasy."

Headquartered in Broomfield, Colo., Noodles and Co.  features "noodles, salads and sandwiches from around the world." There are 10 Noodes and Co. locations in the Baltimore-Annapolis area including ones in Columbia, White Marsh, Towson, Pikesville and Harborplace.
