Person is found dead in McDonald's bathroom

Anne Arundel County police say a person found dead in the bathroom of a Glen Burnie McDonald's Friday afternoon died as a result of medical reasons.

The body was discovered shortly after 3 p.m. in the bathroom of a McDonald's restaurant on Baltimore-Annapolis Boulevard, according to Lt. Francis Tewey from the Anne Arundel County Police Department.

"There are no suspicious circumstances. We don't have a cause of death," Tewey said.

Police received a call from a sick or injured person prior to the body being found. The identity of the body is not being released.

"If it is a medical case, we wouldn't do that," he said.
