True freshman Mike Madaras set for 1st career start on Terps' O-line

Good Counsel grad is, by Randy Edsall's recollection, the first true freshman he's ever put atop line depth chart as coach

Maryland offense vs. Wake Forest defense: The Demon Deacons have won four of the past six meetings. Terps quarterback Perry Hills had his best career game with three touchdown passes against West Virginia before the bye week. But Hills has been intercepted five times in four games, and Maryland has had turnover problems (the Terps are minus-7 in turnover margin). Linebackers Mike Olson (13 tackles) and Justin Jackson (12 tackles) had big games in Wake Forest's loss to Duke last week. But the Demon Deacons are tied for last in the ACC in scoring defense (33.4 points per game) and have given up 458 yards per game.

Maryland defense vs. Wake Forest offense: Quarterback Tanner Price has thrown for 211 yards per game. But Price lost his best receiver, Michael Campanaro, who led the ACC in receiving until breaking his hand early in the Duke game. Wide receiver Terence Davis had six catches for 100 yards. Maryland's 3-4 defense is ranked eighth in the country at 261.2 yards per game and has been particularly strong against the run. Safety Matt Robinson (groin) is questionable.
