A Baltimore City officer suffered a concussion Tuesday in a motorcycle accident on Interstate 795 in Owings Mills.

The officer, a 10-year-veteran of the city motorcycle unit, was traveling to a training exercise in Sykesville. He lost control of the motorcycle on the rain-slick road and collided with a Jersey wall about 8 a.m., police said.

The officer, whose identity has not been released, was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he is in good condition.
