Traffic: Accident on Route 295 near Route 100

No major delays on transit systems

As of 9 a.m. Monday, traffic was slow on Route 295 southbound near Route 100, due to an accident.

Accidents were slowing traffic on the outer loop of I-695 near U.S. 40 in Baltimore County, Joppa Road at Jasper Street in Baltimore County, Frederick Road at McCurley Street in Baltimore County and the Belair Bypass near Rock Spring Road in Harford County.

An accident was slowing traffic on Route 295 southbound near Arundel Mills Boulevard in Anne Arundel County.

Portions of Monument Street in Baltimore City are closed due to cleanup from the Baltimore Book Festival. They will reopen by late Monday.

Monument Street is closed between Wolfe Street and Patterson Park Avenue in East Baltimore, due to sinkhole repairs. Maryland Transit Administration bus 35 has been diverted.

There are no major delays reported on area transit systems.
