Patterson Mill took just three shots in the boys soccer game against No. 12 Perry Hall, but two of them found the net in a 2-0 upset victory Friday.
Logan Hennlein and Lazz Carwell each scored a goal for the host Huskies. Patterson Mill goalie Ian Dowding had 14 saves.
No. 10 Centennial 1, Atholton 0: Chris Lee scored the game-winner in the second half for the host Eagles (8-0).
No. 11 Catonsville 0, Sparrows Point 0, 2OT: Kenny Quallivalle made 13 saves for the host Pointers (6-1-1).
Girls soccer
John Carroll 1, No. 12 Mercy 0: Olivia DiFonoso scored the game's only goal in the first half and Carolyn Sdanowich had an assist as the Patriots (6-4) upset the visiting Magic (7-5). Madison Collins had eight saves in the loss.
No. 8 Notre Dame Prep 0, Mount de Sales 0, 2OT: Sydney Hunter made 27 saves and Maddie Fields had two for the visiting Sailors in a double-overtime draw. The Blazers' Victoria Gabor made seven saves.
Field hockey
No. 1 Garrison Forest 5, Roland Park 1: Bayly Jarrett scored twice to power the host Grizzlies (9-0) past the Reds.
The one goal allowed by Garrison is the first allowed by the Grizzlies since Sept. 10 in a 4-1 win over McDonogh.
The Grizzlies have won by shutout seven times.
No. 7 Hereford 4, Loch Raven 0: Shannon Martello had two goals to lead the Bulls over the host Raiders.
Maddy Hoover and Maggie Cuberson each added a goal in the win. Hereford's record improved to 7-0.
No. 10 Archbishop Spalding 1, McDonogh 0: Alex Puller scored the game-winner for the host Cavaliers (8-2).
No. 13 Mount Hebron 3, No. 14 Howard 2: Tianna Wallpher, Monica Linn and Haley Sutton scored goals as the Vikings (7-1) outlasted the Lions (6-1).
No. 15 North Harford 8, Patterson Mill 1: Becca Rinaca scored four goals and Kara Parks had three to power the host Hawks (5-3) past the Huskies.
Joppatowne 2, Edgewood 1: Brianna Hamburg scored both goals for the visiting Mariners.
