Festival The annual West River Heritage Day Oyster Festival will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 21 at the Captain Avery Museum, 1418 EW Shady Side Road. The event features children's activities, arts and crafts, food, and music by Tim and Savannah Finch, the Eastman String Band, Calico Jack, Sour Notes, the Coastal Flats, and Gary Harmon and Andy Garte. At the end of the day, the winner of the $5,000 raffle, sponsored by the museum, will be drawn. Raffle tickets are $5. Festival admission is $6, free for children 12 and younger. Parking will be available at the nearby ball fields with free shuttle service, and handicapped parking will be available at the museum. Information: 410-867-4486 or captainaverymuseum.org.

Concert Grammy-nominated fiddler Casey Driessen's Singularity Tour makes a stop at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 24 at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts, 801 Chase St. in Annapolis. Tickets are $15; $10 for hall members. Information: 410-280-5640 or marylandhall.orghttp://marylandhall.org.
