The National Weather Service is calling for Wednesday to start out mostly cloudy and gradually become sunny in the Baltimore area, with a high near 73 and north winds 9 to 13 miles per hour.

A small craft advisory is in effect until 5 p.m. for the Maryland portion of the Chesapeake Bay and the tidal Potomac River.

Wednesday night is expected to be mostly clear, with a low around 55 and north winds 3 to 5 miles per hour.

Thursday is expected to be mostly sunny, with a high near 77 and northeast winds around 6 miles per hour, becoming southwesterly in the afternoon.

Thursday night is expected to be partly cloudy, with a low around 60 and southeast winds 3 to 6 miles per hour.
