Traffic: Accident on U.S. 50 near Rowe Blvd.

Delays on MARC Penn line

As of 9 a.m. Wednesday, traffic was slow on U.S. 50 westbound near Rowe Boulevard, due to an accident.

Accidents were slowing traffic on Ritchie Highway and Walton Avenue in Anne Arundel County and Beaconsfield Road near Honeygo Boulevard in Baltimore County.

Monument Street is closed between Wolfe Street and Patterson Park Avenue in East Baltimore, due to sinkhole repairs. Maryland Transit Administration bus 35 has been diverted.

Until further notice, the No. 14 bus stop located northbound on Crain Highway at Furnace Branch Road has been temporarily relocated due to construction.

The Maryland Transit Administration is warning patrons of the MARC Penn line to expect delays due to signal problems between Bowie and Washington following Tuesday's storms.

There are no other delays reported on area transit systems.
