Man shot in shoulder in Southwest Baltimore

He is shot on Random Road in Beechfield neighborhood

A man was shot in the shoulder in Southwest Baltimore on Wednesday night, according to city police.

Police responded about 10:52 p.m. to the 400 block of Random Road in the city's Beechfield neighborhood for a report of gunfire and found the man, who was transported to a local hospital.

The location is just south of Frederick Avenue, not far from the Baltimore County line.

No further information was immediately available.
