Two men were arrested Tuesday morning on drug charges after a Baltimore County bomb squad found a chemical inhalant in the basement of a rowhouse in the Parkville-Hillendale area the previous day.

Justin Trionfo, 19, who lived at the rowhouse in the 8300 block of Ridgely Oak Road, and Kahrl Retti, 18, of the first block of Bideford Court in Carney, were both charged with two counts of intent to distribute the inhalant found.

The inhalant consisted of water mixed with Super Tech starter engine fluid, police said.

Emergency responders first received a 911 call from the property's owner, a relative of the occupant, about 5 p.m. Monday, reporting a strange smell coming from the home's basement.

The bomb squad was called as a precaution, police said.

In the basement of the home, responders located enough of the inhalant mixture to fill about four soda bottles, police said.

Residents who live on either side of the house were evacuated after the initial 911 call but were able to return within hours, police said.
