Anne Arundel County police have charged a 30-year-old Baltimore resident with attempted murder in an incident that occurred early Monday in Pasadena.
Raymond Gene Adkins, of the 600 block Ponca Street in East Baltimore, also faces assault charges and is being held at the county detention center.
Officers, responding to a 1 a.m. call, found the victim on the front porch of a residence in the 700 block of Duvall Highway. The man was suffering from two stab wounds to his upper body. Officers located the suspect inside the home, washing his hands at a bathroom sink. Officers also found a blood-stained knife on the sink.
The victim was taken to Baltimore Washington Medical Center, where he is being treated for injuries that are not life-threatening, police said.
