Man, 20, stabbed after fight over woman in Dundalk

Police officer observed attack; suspect in custody

A 20-year-old man was in critical condition with a stab wound after an argument Monday morning in Dundalk, Baltimore County police said.

A county police officer observed the stabbing in the 2100 block of Dunmanway and a suspect was taken into custody, police said.

Earlier Monday, officers had been called to the 7300 block of Dunmanway on a report of two men arguing over a woman, police said.

A police spokesman said the call was resolved and the officers left.

Later Monday, an officer observed the same two men fighting in the 2100 block of Dunmanway, police said. As the officer watched, one man stabbed the other in the stomach, police said.

The victim, who was not named, was taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, where he was in critical condition, police said.

The suspect, who also was not named, was in the process of being charged Monday afternoon, police said.
