Sunday, Sept. 9, is the official start of the program year at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 1110 St. Stephen's Church Road in Crownsville. There will be a reception with refreshments from 9:15 a.m. to 10 a.m. in the Parish Hall with Christian education enrollment for all ages. The Memorial Baptist Church Choir of Brasilia worships with the congregation through song at 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 9, at Heritage Baptist Church, 1740 Forest Drive in Annapolis. A reception follows. Free. Information: 410-263-6680.


The Churches United for Christ Cluster will hold its annual fall revival beginning at 7 p.m. Sept. 13-14 at Asbury Town Neck United Methodist Church, 429 Asbury Drive in Severna Park. The theme is "The Village Is on Fire," and revivalist is Bishop Varle Rollins of the Living Waters Outreach Center in Odenton. All are welcome. Information: 410-647-3461.

Bible study

Greater Crofton Reformed Orthodox Presbyterian Church holds a weekly study class focusing on 2 Corinthians at 7:30 p.m. Thursdays at the Cross Roads School House, 1358 Millersville Road, Millersville.
