McFaul's IronHorse Tavern is charming but needs polish

Appealing menu at New Sander's Corner restaurant could use some fine-tuning

Back story: McFaul's IronHorse Tavern at Sander's Corner opened in June in the historic Hampton space vacated by the old Sanders Corner restaurant. With friendly service and a regionally inspired menu, the tavern hopes to fill the neighborhood's needs for a restaurant that's part bar, part family-friendly.

Parking: Lot on the side

Signature dish: Try the filet tip sandwich — a nicely cooked, savory combination of meat, cheese, onions and peppers. And to drink, go for the suggested wine pairing.
