A coastal flood advisory is in effect through Monday night along the western shore of the Maryland Chesapeake Bay and the upper tidal Potomac River. A small craft advisory is in effect Monday night for the Maryland Chesapeake Bay from Sandy Point to Smith Point and for the lower tidal Potomac River from Cobb Island to Smith Point.

Monday night is expected to be mostly cloudy, with a low around 74 and south winds 6 to 8 miles per hour. There is a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms.

Tuesday is expected to be partly sunny, with a high near 89 and northwest winds around 9 miles per hour. There is a 30 percent chance of showers, with thunderstorms possible after 11 a.m.

Tuesday night is expected to be partly cloudy, with a low around 70 and northwest winds around 6 miles per hour after midnight.
