Del. Donald H. Dwyer Jr., who represents my district but certainly not my interests in the House of Delegates, has devoted his years as a legislator to thumping his Bible and telling other people how to conduct their lives. Now he has admitted to drunken boating — and a possible blood-alcohol level more than double the criminal limit — in a horrible accident on the Magothy River that injured half a dozen people, himself included.
He belongs in jail and out of office. If he does not have the grace to resign, hopefully the voters will kick him out next time around.
