Is fracking coming to Maryland?

August 25, 2012

Proponents of fracking assured New York crowds at a recent rally that they won't be drilling where they're not wanted. What they really meant is where nobody will see them. Just look at what they did in Ohio and Pennsylvania. I can't imagine they were welcomed with open arms in those states.

Now it looks like fracking may come to Maryland. We'll get about three years' worth, then find ourselves back in the same predicament we are in now.

It's time to think outside the box. There are plenty of other natural, renewable solutions to our energy problems.
