Traffic: Debris in the road on I-83 near Padonia Road

As of 9 a.m. Wednesday, traffic was slow on I-83 northbound near Padonia Road, due to debris in the road.

Accidents were slowing traffic on Hanover Pike and Old Hanover Road in Baltimore County and Ohio Street and Ontario Street in Harford County.

Debris in the road was also blocking traffic on I-97 northbound near Dorsey Road in Anne Arundel County.

Main Street was closed in Ellicott City from Old Columbia Pike to Oella Avenue, due to cleanup from the CSX train derailment.

Traffic was slow on I-895 near the Steel Bridge, due to construction activity.

Monument Street is closed between Wolfe Street and Patterson Park Avenue in East Baltimore, due to sinkhole repairs. Maryland Transit Administration bus 35 has been diverted.

Maryland Transit Administration buses 36 and 51 have been diverted from Monroe Street due to a sinkhole.

The bus stop on Pratt Street at Sharp Street has been discontinued temporarily due to installation of a racetrack barrier for the Baltimore Grand Prix. This affects MTA bus route numbers 7, 11, 19, 19X and 35.

Until further notice, the No. 14 bus stop located northbound on Crain Highway at Furnace Branch Road has been temporarily relocated due to construction.

There are no other delays reported on Baltimore area transit systems.
