Marshal Yanda missing from practice

It's unclear whether Pro Bowl right guard is still smarting from apparent leg injury suffered during Monday's session

Starting right guard Marshal Yanda is not at Tuesday’s practice at the team’s headquarters in Owings Mills. Yanda appeared to be briefly injured Monday when tight end Billy Bajema undercut outside linebacker Chavis Williams, who rolled into Yanda’s lower leg. Yanda remained on the turf for a few seconds and did not leave the practice field, but it’s unclear if that is the reason for his absence.

Defensive end Pernell McPhee is out for the third consecutive practice to deal with a death in the family. Offensive tackle Jah Reid has also sat out the same amount of time after re-aggravating a strained calf.

Tight end Dennis Pitta (broken right hand) and inside linebacker Josh Bynes (cracked vertebrae) did not practice for the 15th straight day. Tight end Ed Dickson (sprained right shoulder) and defensive tackle Ryan McBean (broken left ankle) missed their eighth consecutive day.

Inside linebacker Darryl Blackstock (groin) was not present after practicing Sunday and Monday.

Outside linebacker Sergio Kindle (shoulder stinger) and strong safety Sean Considine (unspecified) wore red, non-contact jerseys. Considine had practiced Monday without one.

Wide receiver/return specialist David Reed (knee surgery) is still on the physically-unable-to-perform list. Outside linebacker Terrell Suggs (torn right Achilles tendon) is on the non-football injury list.
