Arundel is No. 18, followed by Catonsville at No. 19 and Atholton at No. 22. Franklin, Hereford, Westminster and Archbishop Spalding also picked up votes.
In addition to Gilman, Calvert Hall begins its season this weekend, hosting Maryland Christian on Friday at 7 p.m. The season starts for everyone the following weekend with Aug. 31 the first play date for public school teams.
