Baltimore County Police say a Towson-area church fell victim to burglars last week who took items of copper and other materials from the property.

The incident occurred at Idlewylde United Methodist Church, in the 1000 block of Regester Avenue, between 2:30 p.m. Aug. 12 and 3:30 p.m. Aug. 14, according to the police report.

An air conditioning unit cover and coils, and copper wire were stolen from the property.

In addition to this incident, the following items were compiled from police reports from the Towson precinct. Our policy is to include descriptions when there is enough information to make identification possible.

Debonair Court, unit block, between 7 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Aug. 13. Sony television, purse and Nintendo Wii stolen from apartment. Front door kicked in.

West Lake Avenue, 1300 block, at 11:39 a.m. Aug. 12. Man attempted to break into back patio. Resident responded and scared intruder off.

York Road, unit block, between 3:35 p.m. and 10 p.m. Aug. 12. Macbook pro laptop stolen from home.
