Baltimore County police have little information as they continue to investigate a fatal hit and run Friday in Essex that claimed the life of a 55-year-old man.
Motorists found the body, later identified as Dennis John Flury, lying in the roadway about 8 p.m. He was struck by an unknown vehicle near the intersection of Old Eastern Avenue and St. Stephens Lane, police said. The victim was pronounced dead a short time later at Johns Hopkins Bayview Trauma Center.
