Traffic: Debris blocking traffic on I-83 south near I-695

No major delays on area transit systems

As of 9 a.m. Friday, traffic was slow on I-83 southbound approaching the inner loop of I-695, due to debris in the road.

Traffic was slow on Argonne Drive near McCallum Drive in Baltimore City, due to an accident.

Traffic was slow on I-895 near the Steel Bridge, due to construction activity.

Monument Street is closed between Wolfe Street and Patterson Park Avenue in East Baltimore, due to sinkhole repairs. Maryland Transit Administration bus 35 has been diverted.

Light Street is closed from Baltimore to Lombard streets due to water main repairs. Some bus routes have been diverted due to the repair work.

Maryland Transit Administration buses 36 and 51 have been diverted from Monroe Street due to a sinkhole.

The bus stop on Pratt Street at Sharp Street has been discontinued temporarily due to installation of a racetrack barrier for the Baltimore Grand Prix. This affects MTA bus route numbers 7, 11, 19, 19X and 35.

Until further notice, the No. 14 bus stop located northbound on Crain Highway at Furnace Branch Road has been temporarily relocated due to construction.

There are no other delays reported on Baltimore area transit systems.
