As of 9 a.m. Wednesday, traffic was slow on I-695 outer loop near Route 295, due to an accident.

The Maryland Transit Administration is advising light rail system patrons that shuttle bus service is in place from North Avenue to Hunt Valley, due to storm-related damage along that portion of the line and repair work underway. MTA spokesman Terry Owens said Wednesday morning that crews were working to have at least a single track along the entire route operational by late morning but that a "bus bridge" has been put in place until it is.

Patrons of the Woodberry station and the Mt. Washington station can board the shuttle bus at the designated light rail shuttle bus stop along Falls Road. Patrons at the Falls Road, Lutherville, Timonium, Timonium Business Park, Gilroy, McCormick and Hunt Valley stations can board the shuttle bus at the station. Patrons at the Pepper Road station must board the shuttle bus on McCormick Road at the light rail shuttle bus stop. Customers at the Warren Road station must board the shuttle bus on Beaver Dam Road at the designated light rail shuttle bus stop.

Monument Street is closed between Wolfe Street and Patterson Park Avenue in East Baltimore, due to sinkhole repairs. Maryland Transit Administration bus 35 has been diverted.

Light Street is closed from Baltimore to Lombard streets due to water main repairs. Some bus routes have been diverted due to the repair work.

Maryland Transit Administration buses 36 and 51 have been diverted from Monroe Street due to a sinkhole.

The bus stop on Pratt Street at Sharp Street has been discontinued temporarily due to installation of a racetrack barrier for the Baltimore Grand Prix. This affects MTA bus route numbers 7, 11, 19, 19X and 35.

Until further notice, the No. 14 bus stop located northbound on Crain Highway at Furnace Branch Road has been temporarily relocated due to construction.

There are no other delays reported on Baltimore area transit systems.
