More than 18,000 BGE customers lost electrical power as a result of the storms that hit the Baltimore area Tuesday night, mostly in Baltimore City and Baltimore County, and the majority had service back by Wednesday morning, according to BGE.
As of 7:16 a.m. Wednesday, according to BGE, power was out for 3,141 customers, and power was restored for 14,984 customers since the storm began around 8 p.m. Tuesday.
The breakdown includes: 1 customer out of power in Anne Arundel County and 90 customers with power restored in Anne Arundel County; 1,872 customers out of power in Baltimore County and 9,837 customers with power restored in Baltimore County and 1,187 customers out of power in Baltimore City and 4.060 customers with power restored in Baltimore City.
Also, 20 customers out of power in Carroll County and 134 customers with power restored in Carroll County; 61 customers out of power in Harford County and 0 customers with power restored in Harford County; and 0 customers out of power in Howard County and 863 customers with power restored in Howard County.
