Marijuana found growing in Pasadena yard, police say

Anne Arundel police arrest twin brothers

Anne Arundel County police said they charged twin brothers in connection with finding more than two dozen suspected marijuana plants growing in the backyard of a home in Pasadena.

Police said they had obtained a warrant to search a home in the first block of Nicholson Drive for an investigation into marijuana growing there. They searched the home around 8:23 a.m. Sunday and found 26 marijuana plants growing in the backyard and ranging in height from three feet to nine feet, police said. Police estimated the street value at $26,000 and said they also seized drug paraphernalia.

Charged were Robert Blake Clodfelter and Ronald James Clodfelter, both 41, who police said lived at the home that was searched. Robert Clodfelter was charged with drug manufacture, possession with intent to distribute and two counts of marijuana possession, according to court records. Ronald Clodfelter was charged with drug manufacture, possession with intent to distribute and marijuana possession, court records show.

The brothers were released on recognizance, according to court records.
