Traffic: Four vehicle accident on I-95 southbound near I-895

No major delays on transit systems

As of 9 a.m. Tuesday, traffic was slow on I-95 southbound near I-895 in Baltimore City, due to an accident involving four vehicles.

Debris in the road was slowing traffic on Route 100 eastbound near Arundel Mills Boulevard in Anne Arundel County and I-95 southbound near Scaggsville Road in Howard County.

Traffic was slow on I-895 near the Steel Bridge, due to construction activity.

Monument Street is closed between Wolfe Street and Patterson Park Avenue in East Baltimore, due to sinkhole repairs. Maryland Transit Administration bus 35 has been diverted.

Light Street is closed from Baltimore to Lombard streets due to water main repairs. Some bus routes have been diverted due to the repair work.

Maryland Transit Administration buses 36 and 51 have been diverted from Monroe Street due to a sinkhole.

The bus stop on Pratt Street at Sharp Street has been discontinued temporarily due to installation of a racetrack barrier for the Baltimore Grand Prix. This affects MTA bus route numbers 7, 11, 19, 19X and 35.

Continuing until 11 p.m. tonight, Hollins Ferry Road will be closed to through traffic between Waterview Avenue and Patapsco Avenue for railroad track replacement work. MTA bus 51 will be diverted from that section of Hollins Ferry Road during that period.

The westbound bus stop on Fleet Street at Central Avenue will be discontinued due to construction activities until Aug. 15.

There are no major delays reported on Baltimore area transit systems.
