At least Ryan has a vision, unlike the Democrats

August 14, 2012

Your editorial about Mitt Romney's selection of Paul Ryan as his running mate ("The wrong vision," Aug. 12) was good at parroting the Democratic talking points about Mr. Ryan and his budget proposal. Maybe I missed it for the last three years, so help me out by publishing the Democrats' budget proposal. Oh, I forgot. President Barack Obama's proposal was rejected by the Senate in a unanimous vote, and the Democratically controlled Senate has not proposed an alternative.

Would it not be nice to at least talk about the issues rather than just complaining about the Ryan proposal (and remember that it is a proposal, not a done deal).

Or should we just wait until we are bankrupt?
