For years all I've heard from other O'sfans is that the reason they don't go see the team is that the Orioles are perennial losers. However, this year the Orioles are in the race for the playoffs and nine games over .500, and what do we see? Roughly the same attendance numbers as last year when the team wasn't doing nearly as well. Contrast this to Pittsburgh whose Pirates are also typically under achievers. They are having a great season, and PNC Bank Park is filled to the brim.
What will it take, Orioles fans, to get you to come back to the Camden Yards? "The Orioles need to win" is apparently not the answer.
